Jennifer Darin - Lawyer

Jennifer Darin operated a thriving property practice in Chatswood for nearly 30 years before she merged her busy firm with Bull Son & Schmidt.

Jennifer obtained a combined Bachelor of Commerce and Law degree back in the days when women were a minority in that field.  Jennifer gained some experience in city firms, leaving a couple of years later to open a brand new practice with just one client, in Chatswood.

From those humble beginnings Jennifer rapidly became known as the “go to” solicitor in Chatswood when you needed a property lawyer to get the job done fast and well.

The firm grew and specialised in property work – predominantly residential conveyancing and commercial and retail leasing and established a strong and loyal client base resulting in many returns and referrals, both from satisfied clients and also from real estate agents who know that referring the client to Jennifer meant the work was prompt and efficient in her own unique style.

Jennifer’s work ethic kept her busy day and night, 7 days a week.  She would often be found exchanging contracts at midnight on a Saturday night.  “Conveyancing is not a Monday to Friday 9 to 5 occupation”.

Jennifer’s staff and clients knew her as a workaholic however she has recently embraced a “work/life balance”, discovered a passion for travel, and since the merger is attempting to reduce her hours a little.  She also runs for fitness (often dragging the next door neighbour’s dog with her for company), has a unique appreciation for exotic food and wine and loves to entertain.
